WhatsApp templates
Customize the 7 pre-written messages used across the app — variables fill in automatically.
What these templates are for
These are the click-to-send messages — every WhatsApp button in the app opens WhatsApp with the message already written, and you hit send. No API setup, no extra cost, works from day one on every plan including Free.
These are not the automated messages. On Pro, StudioPartner can send reminders by itself, and that wording is pre-approved by WhatsApp and cannot be edited. The templates below are the ones you control. See WhatsApp — how it works in StudioPartner.
The 7 templates
Go to Settings → WhatsApp templates. Tap any template to edit it:
| Template | Sent when |
|---|---|
| Trial welcome | A trial student books their first class |
| Lead follow-up | Following up an enquiry from Leads |
| Membership expiry | A membership is about to expire |
| Fee reminder | A student has a pending fee |
| Payment receipt | Confirmation after recording a payment |
| Admission welcome | Full enrolment confirmation after admission |
| Absent follow-up | Nudging students marked absent after saving attendance |
Variables
Placeholders in curly braces are filled in automatically when you send — for example {name}, {studio}, {amount}, {plan}, {batch}, {date}, {invoice}. Each template shows exactly which variables it supports.
A red dot marks templates you have customized. Reset to default brings back the original anytime.
Tip
Keep messages short and personal. They are sent from your own WhatsApp number, so they should sound like you — not like a robot.
