Messages — replies from students
See what students reply to your automated WhatsApp messages, and answer from your own number.
Messages is a Pro feature, and it appears once automated reminders are switched on.
What lands here
When StudioPartner sends a fee reminder for you, it goes out from a shared StudioPartner WhatsApp number. Students reply to that number.
Messages is where those replies show up — grouped by person, newest first.
Without it, those replies would arrive somewhere you never see.
You read here, you reply from your own WhatsApp
This is the part to understand, and it is deliberate.
Messages is read-only. Tapping Reply opens the conversation in your own WhatsApp, with the student's number ready.
Why: the student ends up in a chat with your studio's number, not ours. Your relationship stays yours. If replies went out from the shared number, every future conversation with that parent would belong to StudioPartner instead of you.
Working through the list
Three tabs:

Mark a conversation as handled once you have answered. The counter tracks conversations waiting, not individual messages — someone who sent six one-word replies is one thing to deal with, not six.
Photos and payment screenshots
Students send these constantly, and they open right in the conversation.
A screenshot is not a recorded payment. Nothing reaches the student's fee record until someone enters it under Fees. Reading it here does not update your books.
Whose message is this?
When a reply comes from a number saved on a student's profile, their name and batch appear on the conversation.
Where no match can be made — a parent using their own phone, a number saved in a different format, a number never added — the conversation still arrives complete. It simply shows the phone number instead of a name.
Matching is being improved. An unmatched conversation is never a lost or hidden one; only the name label is missing.
Coming with Premium
Premium will give each studio its own dedicated WhatsApp number. At that point this same screen gains the ability to send replies directly, and the trip out to your own WhatsApp is no longer needed.
