Posting a gig & hiring
Advertise teaching work or choreography, and work through the people who apply.
What a gig is
Any work you want to fill — a regular teaching slot, a workshop, choreography for a function, a substitute for a term.
You post it, dancers on the Network apply, and you work through the applications in your dashboard.
Gigs are owner-only, like the rest of the Network.
Posting one
Network → Post a gig. Describe the work, where it is, when it runs, and what it pays.
Be specific about money. A gig with a real number attached gets applications from people who are genuinely available at that rate; one that says "competitive" gets a pile of enquiries you then have to filter by asking everyone the same question.
How many you can have open
| Plan | Open gigs at once |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Basic and above | Unlimited |
Closing a filled gig frees the slot on Free.
Reviewing applicants
Network → Gigs, then open the gig to see who has applied. Each applicant brings their Network profile — experience, styles, and portfolio where they have added one.
Contact the people worth talking to directly. Hiring happens between you and them; StudioPartner introduces you and stays out of it.
Close gigs you have filled
The most common complaint from dancers is applying to work that was filled weeks ago.
Close a gig once it is filled. It costs nothing and it is the difference between a studio people keep applying to and one they learn to skip.
What applicants can see
Your public studio profile and the gig. Nothing from inside your dashboard — not your students, staff, fees or any other operational data.
Hiring someone into your studio
Hiring on the Network does not create a staff account. If your new teacher needs a login, add them under Team → Staff as a separate step — and note that staff accounts are a Pro feature.
