Batch attendance link
Let a teacher mark a batch's register from a link — no StudioPartner login needed.
The attendance link is a Pro feature.
What it is
Every batch can have its own private web link. A teacher opens it on their phone, enters a 4-digit PIN, and marks that batch's attendance.
No app, no account, no password to reset.
When to use it instead of a staff account
Attendance link — for a teacher who only needs to mark one register. Freelancers, visiting choreographers, someone covering a class this week.
Staff account — for someone who needs to see students, fees or anything else. Give them a proper login instead.
If the only thing they will ever do is mark attendance, the link is less to set up and less to take away later.
Setting it up
- Open the batch
- Generate its attendance link
- Share the link and the PIN with the teacher
The PIN matters. Anyone holding the link and the PIN can mark that batch's register, so send them together only to the person who needs them.
What the teacher sees
Only that one batch's students, for marking present or absent. Nothing else in your studio is reachable from the link — no fees, no other batches, no student contact details, no reports.
Marks made through the link appear in your dashboard like any other attendance.
Replacing or removing a link
Regenerate issues a fresh link and PIN, and immediately kills the old one. Use it when a teacher leaves, or if you think the link has been forwarded.
Regenerating breaks the link for whoever is currently using it. Send the new one, or they will be stuck at the start of tomorrow's class.
Remove deletes the link entirely, with no replacement. Attendance already marked through it stays.
Good practice
- One link per batch — do not reuse one teacher's link for another class
- Regenerate when someone stops teaching for you
- Remove links for batches that have finished
