Staff attendance
Track who worked, who was off, and what feeds into payroll.
Staff attendance is a Pro feature.
Where it lives
Team → Attendance. Pick a date, mark everyone, save.
It works the same way as student attendance, but the statuses are different because staff are paid on them.
The five statuses
| Status | Use it when |
|---|---|
| Present | Normal working day |
| Absent | Did not come in, not approved leave |
| Half Day | Worked part of the day |
| Leave | Approved time off |
| Holiday | Studio closed — not the individual's fault or choice |
The distinction between Absent and Leave matters. Both mean the person was not there; only one is usually unpaid.
Work days
Each staff member can have a working schedule — the days of the week they are expected in.
Someone who does not work Mondays is not shown as missing on a Monday. Their schedule is simply respected.
If you have not set a schedule for someone yet, they are treated as working every day. Set their work days on their staff profile to stop weekends looking like absences.
The monthly count
Each staff member shows a running count for the month — how many days Present, Absent, Half Day, Leave and Holiday so far.
This is the number to check before running payroll. It is also the fastest way to spot a pattern before it becomes a conversation you have to have twice.
Multiple branches
If you run more than one branch, staff are listed under the branches they work at.
Someone who works across all of your branches appears under each of them, so you can mark attendance wherever they actually are that day.
History
The History view shows past months, so you can answer "how many days did she work in June?" without scrolling back through dates one at a time.
